Papergang | February 2017

I managed to resist unpacking all the goodies inside this month's Papergang box at my desk, meaning I was able to snap a quick pic of the gorgeous packaging before tearing it open. This month's box features the amazing Nina Cosford, who has designed this gorgeous pastel pink and vibrant green collection that harks of tropical rainforests and summer holidays.

I particularly love the calendar in this month's box. The bright green tropical birds are perfect for livening up my desk, as I'll be sticking this to my monitor at work in the hope that it will mean I actually remember the date occasionally.

The card is also great this month! Last month I was concerned that I would never have any use for the cards included, but this birthday card is cute and generic enough that you could send it to anyone and they'd be chuffed to bits.

I LOVE this tear away desk pad! It's perfect for keeping on my coffee table, providing a place for me to scrawl last minute to do lists, doodles and general things I should probably try and remember. It also sits next to a few little succulents and a cactus, so the illustration is very appropriate.

I'm not sure how much use I'll get out of these stickers; sure they're cute, but I kind of don't get the point of them? I don't really get stickers generally, except for stick-on googly eyes because they're HILARIOUS.

An A4ish notebook is always handy to have, and I am of the opinion that one can never have too many notebooks. This will no doubt come in handy at some point, and the illustration is again in keeping with the theme of the box and features a particularly excellent cockatoo of which I am very fond, partially because it reminds me of Kiki from the Enid Blyton Adventure series. Does anyone else remember those books? I bloody loved 'em.

Overall, I think this box is better than last month. The theme was more cohesive and the contents a bit more useful, in my opinion. I'm already looking forward to next month's box!

Stalk me!
